Topics: Cetacean Habitat, Sanctuaries

On May 5th, Shark Stewards, a project of Earth Island Institute, hosted a special reception for the opening of a spectacular photography exhibit featuring the Pacific Remote Islands Marine National Monument and the Gulf of the Farallones National Marine Sanctuary.

The month-long exhibition of rare marine wildlife and exotic habitats is sponsored by Tandem Stills + Motion, Shark Stewards and Earth Island Institute.

The many color images have been contributed by Ian Shive, Susan Middleton and David McGuire.

PLAN A VISIT SOON:

The photo exhibit, in support of our Marine Monuments and Sanctuaries campaign, is free and open during public hours from Tuesday though Saturday 9:00 AM-4:00 PM throughout May, ending June 9.

The Army Corps Bay Model Visitor's Center Gallery is at 2100 Bridgeway, Sausalito CA 94965.

Shark Stewards, Earth Island Advocates, and the International Marine Mammal Project are working together to protect these important areas. The Pacific Remote Islands Marine National Monument may be gutted by the Trump Administration as part of its effort to undo national monument protective designations made by previous presidents.

We plan to stop him, but we need your help! To contribute to the legal effort for the PRI Monument, go to: http://eii.org/prinm
